Llewellyn Park Real Estate Llewellyn Park, West Orange Llewellyn Park boasts 175 homes on 425 acre community. Established in 1853, the Park was designed as the first romantically landscaped park and one of the first planned communities in America. Llewellyn Haskell, the founder of the Park and his chief architect Alexander Jackson Davis designed the streets as romantic architecture with no streets being formed as a straight line and no cul-de-sacs. Commuter trains are located in neighboring towns of Orange, South Orange, and Montclair which connect to the PATH subway trains in Hoboken. There is also a direct line into Manhatten's Penn Station in these towns.
